Easy
Installation and Management
The CLI (Command Line Interface) in the NR104G router simplifies
installation and reduces operating cost. The NR104G also includes
various diagnostic LED's for 'at-a-glance' troubleshooting. The
LEDs monitor activities of each port and help to pinpoint network
problems.
For management
and control, the NR104G includes an embedded Telnet Server and
Client System. Software can be upgraded in the field using the
Trivial File Transfer Protocol (tfptp). The NR104G is also equipped
with a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server and relay
agent, which enables dynamic assignment of IP addresses to multiple
PCs. This feature also simplifies IP address setup, as the router
supplies IP addresses to clients as required, and minimises the
local set-up time for the network administrator.
